I was going to return the item because the color was much darker than shown, but when I received the return label it showed I had to pay the postage fee's so decided it wouldn't be worth it after paying shipping for 2 29lb boxes. I was happy to see it was shipped assembled so that was a plus, one drawer had a little chip in the front and the top of the other night stand had a weird looking finish toward the front, like water had been spilled on it while putting the finish on. For the price they are decent night stands and one day will probably end up in a guest room after I find stands that color match my headboard. 1st time ordering furniture online and it will also be my last.Shipped in two days from California and arrived five days later in the midwest via FedEx ground. Item is fully assembled and was well packaged to survive moderate carrier handling. Color is about two shades darker and browner than the product photos shown online. It is an all "wood" product -- top is veneered MDF, remainder of frame is veneered soft wood such as pine. Drawer front also veneered MDF and drawer box is plywood. Back is thin fiberboard. Any area that is not visible isn't stained or polyurethaned. Pretty much meets expectations for modern non-name brand furniture from Asia and Amazon seller was $100 cheaper than same product of Wayfair. I'm happy with my purchase.I’m so happy with my purchase.
