Our first round of these they (Amazon) sent the wrong color. I would have sent them back anyway because they did not protect the product at all and it had dings in a couple corners. They come fairly well packaged with the smaller inside the big one with styrofoam and shrink wrap. It’s just that they get thrown in another box with little to no protection. The second one came in a smaller box and without issues even though it should have been packaged better. On to the actual product! The shelves are cute but made from the pressboard style wood with a veneer wood finish. Not that expected otherwise but just be aware. Since they’re square they could be used on a flat surface or mounted. There’s holes cut in the back for wall mounting. Overall the grey that we received looks great and they are well manufactured. Cute little set of shelves.
