this is a nicer than average podium/lectern, that just screams 'church pulpit'. as head pastor of a church, that's what i ordered it for. just to not have to drag furniture from room to room in our cavernous building, my goal is to have a pulpit or podium in every common room (don't need any in the offices, obviously), and i'm almost there. :).this one is nicely substantial, and clearly well-made. putting it together takes some know-how, so i didn't do it! lol. the color is quite traditional, and as far as i'm concerned, the perfect color choice.the flatbed top is good-sized, allowing for extra large and/or multiple books, texts, materials, etc.i really appreciate getting this item on here. i think the price is quite reasonable, given the excellent quality going on here. i would call it good value.i recommend this pulpit unreservedly. whatever your need, i don't think you'll be sorry, with this one.
